Right next to the hotel stands the Pont Neuf, one of the most iconic bridges among the 37 that punctuate the Seine in Paris, yet the oldest, despite its name. Left abandoned after the Revolution, it owes its salvation to Victor Hugo's novel, which rekindled the country's interest and allowed for its restoration in the 19th century by Viollet-le-Duc, the creator of its famous spire, the very one that collapsed during the 2019 fire. After five years of restoration carried out by hundreds of master craftsmen, the cathedral reopened its doors at the end of 2024, brighter than ever. On the Île de la Cité, the Sainte-Chapelle is one of the most stunning jewels of medieval Paris. There, you can find two stacked chapels: the lower chapel, more sober, once reserved for palace staff, and the upper chapel, dazzling, where the king and his court would come to pray surrounded by its 15 immense stained-glass windows and their 1,113 biblical scenes painted in the glass. Commissioned by Saint Louis to house the Crown of Thorns of Christ, it offers a breathtaking spectacle of light and color. In the evening, it also hosts sumptuous classical music concerts, for an even more unforgettable experience.

A few minutes' walk from the hotel lies the Luxembourg Garden, voted "most beautiful garden in Europe" by travelers. It surrounds the Luxembourg Palace, built by Marie de Medici in homage to her native Palazzo Pitti in Florence, which today houses the French Senate. A few steps from the hotel, the Louvre is the largest museum in the world, with over 400 rooms housing some of humanity’s most admired works: the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the treasures of Ancient Egypt. A stone's throw from the hotel, the Musée d'Orsay occupies the former Orsay station, a masterpiece of stone and metal imagined by architect Victor Laloux for the Universal Exhibition, before becoming one of the most beautiful museums in the world. Beneath its glass roof and immense golden clock, one of the most photographed viewpoints in Paris, it houses the richest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art in the world.
