The Chateau de Versailles was originally built by Louis XIII to serve as a hunting lodge. But it was the illustrious Sun King who transformed it into a veritable palace of luxury and refinement to serve as the official office of power until the French revolution. This historical building, surround by a magnificent park arranged in a French manner, has about 2,300 rooms. The most remarkable room is, without doubt, the mirror gallery which served as a reception and show room.
